Another Spoofer using this # 202-558-7676 - But then has you call this #202-558-7576. I called both numbers the 1st seem legitimate and to be a regular person. However the 2nd number had the same robo-voice and they were not taking any phone calls at this time...

CJ reported:

IRS scam stating that they are taking legal action for whatever reason. It's a scam!!!

Aggrivated reported:

Caller states they are a dispatcher that has received a complaint filed and monies need to be paid immediately to avoid further prosecution....SCAMMER

Robert reported:

Has called our house twice with a recorded message threatening court action unless I return his call and cooperate completely. I checked with my tax advisor and he let me know that this is a scam. The IRS will contact you by mail before several times before you would hear from them by phone, and then they usually will send out an agent.

Z. K. Pollard reported:

Got what appeared to be a phony SCAM call from this number representing themselves as the Internal Revenue Service. Called the number back and it went to a voice mailbox.

Wayne reported:

Received the identical recording twice from 202-558-6682. The individual with a foreign accent claims to be Dennis Grey with the U.S. Treasury department and states he is calling about an enforcement action. Does not call me by name. Does not give any details about the issue. Threatens criminal prosecution. Apparent scam.

Philippa reported:

Received “Unavailable” voice mail message on 07/22/2016 @ 4:30 PM from (202) 558-6566: "Hi, this message is intended to ask you . . . ? This is Fred Mason. . . . Ignoring this call is an intentional criminal offense . . . you will be faced with federal criminal charges . . . subject to a magistrate judge or grand jury indictment. Help us to help you." Unable to understand the entire message (mostly garbled). Never mentioned my name or specifically what I am charged with. Reminds me of an IRS scam call received earlier this year. I wonder if these scammers are targeting senior citizens or individuals who don’t know any better who might fall for these calls.

Steve reported:

Claims to be from the IRS and they are suing the phone number called. Suppose to call back. NO WAY

Anonymous reported:

Claims to be IRS. Let the phone call roll over to voicemail. Captured the VM in a WAV file. Have had six (6) calls in the last 30 days. All materials turned over to FBI at this time. Currently under investigation for fraud and impersonation of a Federal Agency/Officer.

TOM reported:

MY TN IS ON THE DNC LIST AND IS NON-PUBLISHED. THE SOURCE OR CALLER STATES HE IS FROM THE US TREASURY. HIS NAME IS DENNIS GRAY. HE DOES NOT KNOW THE NAME OR THE OWNER OF THE RESIDENCE HE IS CALLING. THEREFORE, IT APPEARS THERE IS A HIDDEN AGENDA AND THIS MAKES ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I HAVE A RECORDED VOICE MESSAGE RECEIVED JULY 21, 2016 AT 5:55pm est.

Calls saying he is from IRS. Has a foreign voice. When I said I am going to turn him in for harassment he says "Fuck you. I'm going to fuck you." I said my husband is listening. He says, "I'm going to fuck him too." I asked if that I the only word he knows and he replied,"Fuck you." Tired of this crap. Called the police.

This call was electronic and when I pressed the appropriate button a person came on to collect my money to sue President Obama. Paleeeeeeeze change Robo calls etc. These offensive calls cannot be repeated.

Michelle reported:

They said they were from "Customer Service" and wanted to confirm the model of our HP OfficeJet for our order, which we never placed. They were insistent in requesting the model number and on the third call when I confirmed we had never ordered from this no-named company, they hung up.
